We’re honored to announce that EC&M has named Augmenta “Product of the Year” winner in the ‘Software & App’ category!

EC&M has served the electrical construction industry for over 130 years, and is the go-to publication in the electrical contracting industry. Award winners are selected by an independent panel of electrical contractors, engineers, and plant facility personnel. These are working professionals who are heads down in coordination, prefab planning, and project delivery every day. Getting recognized by the people who actually do this work every day means more to us than any other accolade we could receive.

We built Augmenta Construction Platform (ACP) around a problem that preconstruction teams know well. Engineers design to a schematic level, place source and destination points, and leave the modeling, routing and coordination for someone downstream. On a data center, a hospital, or a large industrial project, that handoff means weeks of manual conduit modeling in Revit before electrical contractors are even in the coordination room. Mechanical and plumbing are already there, and electrical is always ‘last to chow bowl’.

VDC teams at some of the nation’s leading electrical contractors using ACP are cutting initial modeling time in half and getting to coordination faster, with data-rich models.

This recognition reflects the hard work of our team, and equally the contractors who we are proud to partner with. VDC teams who walked us through their processes and shared honest feedback have shaped everything we’ve built, and we’re glad the people closest to this work are taking notice.

Augmenta is building the foundation model for construction, powered by a frontier spatial AI engine purpose-built for the physical world. It solves what general-purpose AI cannot touch: generating precise, code-compliant, physically valid building designs composed of millions of components across multiple engineering disciplines in continuous 3D space. Augmenta’s commercially validated AI currently automates electrical system design, the hardest discipline, at data center scale. Founded by pioneers of Generative Design at Autodesk, Augmenta is based in Toronto, Canada.
